The word "Vintage" is actually derived from the age of the longest serving member of a group (me) with a date of birth that precedes the "boomers" by a number of years, as in well-seasoned or aged. It is a bit of oversight that "Freeper" is singular instead of plural, "Freepers".

It is our hope that it comes to have a deeper significance. One definition of "ingenuity" is making the impossible, possible. Far too many Americans have given up on the idea that government can be put back into its Constitutional cage. Many believe its relentless growth is going to be with us until we are all reduced to serfs.

Very little of the thinking that has given rise to the Renaissance Plan is original. But the plan developers have pulled the various pieces together in a way that might make it possible for the right group of people to be able to execute it successfully. It is our fondest hope, that by the time the complete series of these articles has been published, that there will be enough Freepers that will come to believe that the thinking embraced by the Renaissance Plan is ingenious, that the term "vintage" might then also be applicable to the minds that recognized it and pulled it together.
