Something occurred to me as I watched the speech today, what confusion still existed about the fatalities.

It was scarcely more than a week after the attack and the details were inaccurate....e.g. the President said that several hundred Brits were killed - actually 67 and that was the highest number of casualties other than US citizens. The number of countries who lost citizens was 115 - the President said, I think, eighty something.

Just emphasized the magnitude of the situation..it was, of course, months before the true death toll was known.

Also wondered where VP Cheney was, till I realized he was being kept in a safe place.
