It was the question of the night: how would Chaz Bono fare under pressure on Dancing with the Stars?
When it was all over, the activist transgender child of Sonny and Cher – whose appearance drew both praise and controversy – basked in cheers from the audience and warm remarks from the judges Monday.
It seems Chaz can cha cha.
"Chazzy Boy, you can dance!" said Carrie Ann Inaba.
Len Goodman responded with a "Razzamataz Chaz" and praised his footwork, while Bruno Tonioli said, "So cuddly and cute. Great, great debut, Chaz. You should be proud," as Bono and pro partner Lacey Schwimmer finished with respectable 17 points.

Who gives a crap about Chaz Bono or this show? If folks don’t like it, they shouldn’t watch.
Chaz actually did a pretty good job. Not bad for a fat person. Not as bouncy and "fun" as, say, Warren Sapp, but pretty good nonetheless. I have seen far worse dancers last a few rounds.
I feel bad for Chaz actually, I also see him/her as a tortured soul, even when she was a little girl on TV.
That was awkward.

With today’s reporductive technologies? I would say yes. They can get Chaz’s egg and use somebody else’s sperm to conceive a test tube baby.

This could work though... as sort of a compromise.
I think I read that she is engaged to a female. She was also announced she was a lesbian many years ago before Sonny died. Guess that wasn’t good enough.

Well, since they're already confused why not make it worse?
They put him on at the end of the show so it was easy to tune him out. My vote goes to the Iraq war veteran who was burned on over 40 percent of his body. He’s an actor now on a daytime soap. The guy has such a positive outlook on life. And he dances pretty good too.
She said once that at age 11 she had a nanny who was a lesbian and came on to her sexually.
