I’m guessing it’s more expensive.
It is the same price in our stores. I’m thinking with all the corn going into ethanol production, HFCS might not be as cheap as it once was?
For a while, “throwback” was actually less expensive (I suppose corn prices being up had something to do with it), by about a buck a 12 pack.
But I imagine some bean counter thought: “why pass the savings on to the customer?”
I am surprised they haven’t marketed it and made it more costly.
OTOH - since finding out that Pepsi has contracted with Senomyx to use their fetal stem cell assay method for taste testing (probably a good way to find out what is in rival products, too), I don’t drink them anymore.
