It's an old Mac Power PC (with no Intel inside) and it's crammed full of files. It needs to be shut down periodically when it acts up and begins to run slowly.
Carbonite does not provide service for Macs pre-dating the inclusion of Intel so I need to get a new computer soon into which I can transfer my data before I lose it.
