A lioness was watching an impala which appeared to be up to its torso in water. The impression was that the water was deep. The impala made a major mistake, and stood up. It was obvious at that point that the water was very shallow. The lioness immediately attacked and grabbed the impala. Suddenly the were BOTH in deep water, but the lioness struggled on and reached the shore. Then, the lioness was confronted by 5 other lionesses. She growled at them and they hesitated, but only for a moment. Then they charged, and in seconds, the impala, which had been a living breathing creature, was torn into ragged chunks of meat.
Tigers swim easily. Lions, are they just lazy when it comes to water?
