My brother got pancreatitus and almost died form taking [Metformin]

Do you know if Metformin has any side effects.. short term or long term ? I know people that are on it.

You can look on some sites Webmd or others that show drugs.

They show side effects.

I stopped taking Metformin partly because of by brother’s problems.
