I’m having trouble recording a show but switching to a different channel at the same time.
I’ve always had problems doing that or trying to do it anyways. lol So I resorted to doing it my own way.
I have 3 sets on Dish. One of them has a PC connected to it, and a shared 1 TB hard drive. All wireless. I use VLC to stream from the shared hard drive to any connected PC. Which is nice since we have a PC or Laptop in every room. Of course, I can burn the content and play it on either of the other TV sets in the house, as well. Very reliable.
