TV sucks.
No surprise. It went from local markets to cable to home dishes faster than anyone could stuff all that bandwidth with anything worth watching. There is probably enough relatively good programming out there for a half-dozen channels, scattered among 200+, unless you are into sports heavily, and then it cycles every few hours and repeats.
Frankly, I couldn't care less about people who get paid huge sums of money for bouncing, throwing, or hitting a ball, so I just keep a little better than basic cable to see the odd movie. Most of what is on cable is dreck, too.
