Thanks to obama's targeting Gibson, I think it's time for another Les Paul. Hmmm...maybe a Custom

Though he might be better known for Gibson semi-hollow body and PRS guitars, Gibson recently released the "Alex Leifson" Les Paul. Looks very interesting.

Oh man, you shouldn't have told me that! Half my hearing loss is probably from Rush concerts...wonder if I could even find one here in the hinterland. Since high school, I've made my fingers bleed many, many times trying to copy that guy and that was waaaay before anyone knew who they were. He's one of the few who made me want to stick my left hand in the garbage disposal out of sheer frustration. Blisters on my blisters? hell yeah!
