Not sure what you mean here. There is a big difference between the two. In TX you don’t need a Dr. to sign off, in AK you do.

Both states had a religious conscience opt-out, which can be stretched as far as you want with a straight face.

Actually, no. In Texas you can opt out for matters of ‘conscience’ or ‘conscious objector’. That means if you deem the immunization dangerous to your children.
