Can you cite a passage that hints that she is not interested in running? I also read Going Rogue, and it indicates no such thing. Bob

She has not let me down! She can do what ever she wants. Is she your slave or something?

I’ve got to agree with you all the way.

I like Palin, but
history has not been kind to failed VP candidates.

Isn’t “You won’t be able to miss it” clear enough about her intentions to run. Don’t get discouraged. The starting QB has not yet taken the field, and the team is down 3-0. Too much is being made of this early stuff. Politics is not for the feint of heart. Bob

She just doesn’t want to run, but is waiting until a strong candidate emerges. I think she will announce she is supporting Perry before the end of the month.

“Sarah is wisely staying above the conventional fray,”
Staying “above the fray”? What a shame.
We need a fighter who is not afraid of the “fray,” who will get in the fight. Maybe Sarah is not that person.

If Sarah Palin had run a conventional campaign and declared two years before the election, the GOP ruling class would have taken her out by now, because to them DC is an exclusive country club that doesn't cotton to outsiders.
The last thing they want is somebody coming in and rocking them right out of their cushy little boats.
In order to win the nomination, she has to outwit and outmaneuver them.
She'll declare when the time is right, and not before.

Sarah is “afraid”? Don’t insult us. Anyone who would delve into the heart of union thuggery in Wisconsin has a spine of steel, Friend.

Are you vying for a chance to be her political campaign advisor? Since Reagan didn’t jump into the race until November 13th, 1979 would you have made the same criticism because he didn’t play by your rules?
You almost sound like a concern troll to me, but maybe you could be the first disappointment troll!

Sarah Palin is not leaving us hanging.
She is a brilliant strategist and answers only to her own instincts as to how she can best serve the people.
Do not lose faith in her or her strategy.
She knows America is in grave danger and she is picking her way through this moment very carefully because she knows the power and cunning of her enemies.
Do not break and run.
Hold fast and remain patient.
Her enemies are trying to choose the time and place of her battles. The wise general always chooses when and where it is best to engage the enemy.

We need a fighter who is not afraid of the fray, who will get in the fight. Maybe Sarah is not that person. The purpose of fighting is fighting.
I'd rather have somebody who knows how to win.

I don’t think she ever seriously intended to run this time. It’s like 2008 with the Fred Thompson hysteria. Fred was holding a place in the race for McCain. I believe Palin was simply holding the place in line for Perry. As an extra added bonus she got plenty of media coverage to promote new books, more appearences, etc.
