RIGHT ANSWER! you win the prize!!heard it on my ipod on the way in, and it put me in such a good mood, i had it on repeat for awhile!
DID NOT! ; )
Prove it! ;-)
I would if i could, but i can’t so i won’t. grrrrrr!
I have no problem with vendors. In fact, in France I saw a guy making baskets by hand, and I thoght, “good on you!”. In milan, it is just the music playing in subways, and they make the little kids walk around with a cup. once it was a “pregnant” girl. In Paris, it was pretty aggressive begging. Venice, the old lady just kneels on the ground like she is crippled. I am so over it.
no, i am with you. sales = legit. and honestly it applies equally to the dang little kids sports teams who ask for donations in front of the safeway etc. SELL SOMETHING, DANG IT> i will buy whatever crap you are hawking, but i am not going to GIVE you $ if you beg for it. i have told the parents that accompany the kids more than once that they need to sell stuff and not have the kids beg. it annoys me to no end.
Being here reminds me of why I like shopping in American stores — big aisles.
Nice tactical loss the Stillers took yesterday. After stewing on their playoff choke for 8 months, you gotta figure Baltimore wins yesterday. Might as well get all of your bad football out of the way. Beats playing well and losing the typical 17-14 game.

Oh snap......
I am a big believer in nuclear power, but these accidents will make it politically toxic forever.
i am sure once hobbes wakes up, he will be at you with some goodnatured joshing about the game. Didn’t watch but my SIL emailed me about the hideousness of the play, and Ben’s 3 interceptions. I know my dearly departed dad would have turned the TV OFF, screaming they are playing DUMB BALL and stomped out of the room. He went nuts when they played badly.
saw that and thought of you. was it an accident? i am still leary with it being only the day AFTER 9/11 (at work, sitting over the tunnel)
Barack can bewitch and beguile
By tweaking each class warfare dial
But during last Thursday’s speech
He had a huge overreach
Which made republicans titter and smile
excellent! A+++ yeah, that was a real bellylaugh!
I have gotten my share of snotty looks too when I admonish parents with kids doing that and I ask them out loud, “What are you teaching your kids? To beg or how to earn something?”
As Eve was beguiled by the serpent (wholly seduced by the shining one) so too Barry Soetoro aka Barak Hussein Obama II desires to beguile the American people by pretending to be one of us.
GREATEST CEREAL EVER!
I get a box around the holidays.
I take that to a whole other level.
oh i dare someone to look at me snotty if i say that! i find begging of any sort to be obnox, let alone by upper middle class suburban kids!
I’m not saying that Ben had other things on his mind, and I know that whole, run around for 7 seconds and chuck it down the field usually works out for him...
But, didn’t anyone tell him they were playing against Ed Reed yesterday?
