If he had been familiar with text he would have know that Bow - is a reference to a weapon of war like in bow & arrow. Two more weapons of war follow in verse 9 - the spear & chariot. Instead he pronounced the word as Bow - to been at the waist, the front of a boat, or limb of a tree.

Wonder if it was the first time he had read or heard the scriptural passage?

He was raised Muslim and probably had to memorize those verses when he was a child in Indonesia and it shows quite often.

I think it is pretty clear it is "bow" as in "bow and arrow" and not "bow" as in "bow at the waist", or "bough" like a tree branch. The Won, in fact, made a gaffe. BUT....who really cares? He is wrong most of the time.
