I used to watch McEnroe, Borg, Connors, Gerulitis and Nastase back in the day and hated the loudmouth antics of Connors and Mac. Borg was my favorite-He always seemed to have a knowing smirky confidence about him.
My thoughts exactly...they should have kicked McEnroe off the court on many occasions...Borg...pure class.
I was 12 years old when Borg won his fifth(?) title and later that year he got married. I still remember crying my eyes out! I had the biggest crush on him. I’ll always remember those matches.
