I’ve got a crazy question. I remember reading many years ago that they found a layer of fossilized mud with dinosaur tracks in it, and human tracks along with drag marks from heavy spears, appearing to follow the dinosaur tracks. Scientists pooh poohed it, saying the mud softened later and the human tracks were set much later than the dino tracks and only appeared to be following. Does this ring any bells with anyone who knows a further source of info about it? Googling unsuccessfully. Thanx :)

I know this isn't what you're looking for but it sounds strangely like the science-fiction short story "Time's Arrow" by Arthur C. Clarke.

tarotsailor ~ I think you are referring to a book titled:

The Genesis Flood: The Biblical Record and Its Scientific Implications - by John C. Whitcomb & Henry M. Morris

There are several black and white pictures in the center of the
book and one shows a dinosaur fossil footprint w/ a man’s footprint in the center of it. The implications are huge:
a. we have zero evidence for a fossil ever softening up and re-fossilizing,
b. man and dinosaur co-existed,
c. man was probably tracking the dinosaur, and
d. man possibly even hunting dinosaurs!

Mankind does have a special place in creation for God also placed a fear of man in the animal kingdom. First wild animals are not attracted to either our smell nor taste, but wild animals will eventually attack man when man is foolish enough to try to be-friend, tame and feed the wild beasts. Ask Penn and Teller.

I know the majority scientific consensus perspective will be quick to ridicule these statements. So for the evolution crowd please answer just a couple of simple queries.

1. In Job ch 39-40 behemoth and leviathan are described. So what is the point of describing to Job an animal w/ a tail like a cedar [i.e. a tree trunk] if Job had no knowledge and the animals referenced?

2. There are primarily 3 natural clocks used to determine long ages of millions and billions of years for life forms and planets, but there are over 100 natural clocks [see my links page] indicating short ages of only thousands of years. Where in the scientific method are we allowed to ignore, discredit, and discard data and scientific evidence that does not support any hypothesis or cherished theory?
