Here we see a subtle argument for the acceptance of homosexuality that is unceasingly drilled into our heads: gays are just like the rest of us, they live happy, contented, FABULOUS lives. If only the rest of us could "get over" our irrational homophobia...
Sometimes the truth is acknowledged, that homosexuals are far more likely to lead sad, lonely lives driven by an unending series of transient sexual relationships. But once again, blame is laid at the feet of those who would oppose their lifestyle, who are guilty of making them miserable.
As our Lord alluded, outward appearances are deceiving. I suspect you do not know the real sordid story of what goes on behind closed doors. To blithely characterize the lives of your homosexual relatives as "happy" is presumptuous and belies the wishful thinking by someone who desire to justify their lifestyle.
What do you not get about what I said. I don’t know how they think they live Christian lives. But THEY think they do?
I didn’t ask anything of YOU! I didn’t accuse YOU of anything! Nor did I blame YOU for anything!
All I said was that THEY don’t seem to need my permission to go to church since they’ve been going to church all their lives? Or to live their lives the way they want to.
And, if you’re a Christian, YOU know as well as I do that there’s a higher power than mine that is in charge of the dispensation as to whether they’re living right or not.
Don’t worry, Son. If Jesus decides they’re not, they’re going straight to hell. And if the thought of that makes you get YOUR rocks off...enjoy yourself!
