The animal control guy was called and he told me that the Fila would not back off (Duh. Look up the temperament of a Fila) and he fired a round between the dogs front legs. He said the next one would have been to the head.
My dog backed off (the pit was running around trying to make friends).
I paid the fines for “animals at large” and thanked the AC guy for not shooting my dog.
He said, “Well, they’re dogs, not crimials. Sometimes they just need a little more motivation.”
