"The Republican game plan is to give 0bama about 90% of what he wants in"

400 billion worth? Total nonsense; whats the point of being the opposition party, then?

OTOH, Im assumng theyll give his the small business cuts and maybe the payroll tax offset with spending cuts.. I cant believe theyll buckle down the line.

The GOP will have their own items to throw in the bill so the final total will be close to the $450 billion.

They will proudly claim that they have only asked for 10% of the total so that when it fails they will still be able to pin that on 0bama. Additionally, since the money in the bill will need to go through the appropriations process the GOP can drag out the process for a few months ensuring very little of the money is spent before 0bama leaves office...then when a Republican president takes over he/she can ask Congress to re-apprpriate the money in a way that meets their goals.

.. Am I suppose to believe theyll put their name on another stimulus package of that size? With Ozero in the weakened state hes right now ?The Tea Party will bail and sit home, expecially if the spending cuts are 10 years from now. Never going to happen, IMO

Cantor is just playing around, for PR purposes, I would suspect.
