October - it’s over

So, one more month?

Although I remember Opal hitting us down here in Alabama in October 1996!

LOL--the poem would lose its rhythm if "the end of October" was inserted. This is the peak of a busy 2011 season.

One interesting fact is that Texas has never taken a major hurricane direct hit after September 30th. Not saying it couldn’t happen, but that’s the date we all aim for, for breathing easier.
