I'm thinking you wouldn't want to live in a place where there is freedom with no boundaries whatsoever. Such a place never existed and never will.
Similarly, I don't think you'd voluntarily stick around long at a site that had no rules whatsoever.
Freedom is always exercised within boundaries. At FR, those boundaries are set by the site owner. If you can't abide by those boundaries, then this is not the place for you.
This site is Jim Robinson's private property, you are his guest, behave accordingly.
And your host grants more freedom in posting (excepting profanity) than any other message board I have posted on over the past ten years.

This site is about FREE ASSOCIATION, if nothing else. DUmmies and other spouters of communism are proudly banned. Nothing... NOTHING at all wrong with that. It’s the definition of freedom.

I feel exactly the same about every moron who voted for Obama, but never felt the need to post that as any kind of a reply useful to anybody else.
