I hope and pray you are right and maybe I'm being cynical. But as I've said I'm with Mencken. It's was so obvious to me in 2008 that Obama was a complete fraud and was going to be a disaster. I would have bet my life on this without hesitation. I can spot a phony and a fraud a mile away.
I lost a huge amount of respect in my fellow American citizens in 2008 and it will take years to get it back, if ever. I'm solidly in the Mencken camp.
You and I felt the same way in 2008. The difference between then and now is then we were going against the polls. Now they confirm what we believe. And again, barring a miracle, he will be utterly destroyed next year by world events. It will harm us too, but that is why I won’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning.
