No need (wink). Was a bartender for a nightclub back in jr college. The homeys are damn cheap. My current GF was a server for IHOP during her pre-med days and she said the same thing.

I think it's a bit over the top, actually. The most I've ever seen is two and that was more than enough to block a lane of traffic and reroute pedestrian traffic.
