Happy Feet penguin does U-turn for NZ

HAPPY Feet may miss New Zealand after all, according to a tracking device showing the wayward emperor penguin is swimming north.
The penguin was liberated in sub-Antarctic waters south of Stewart Island yesterday more than two months after coming ashore on Pekapeka Beach near Wellington.

I’m sure they can find room in the zoo for ONE more penguin. I don’t know why they went thru all the expense to deport him.

We did the *penguin encounter* at the Mystic Aquarium. It was pretty cool, but from what I could tell up close, it's a pretty dumb bird. Incredible feathers.
