My friend had a double mastectomy at age 24 due to cancer. Neither I nor the guy who latter married her nor their two kids thought the mastectomy had turned her into a man. Other woman have had to have their internal female organs removed due to cancer and have remained the same wives, sisters and mothers that they always were. That leaves the only real criteria the wish to be male. Now if wishes were horses.......

Exactly - I was going to add that women have to have mastectomies sometimes and they manage to recover and live lives as normal women after that. There is even some measure of corrective surgery possible in some cases.

It’s her mind and heart that need correction, and she has to want to do it.

Yup. And I think she gained all that weight in order to look more masculine. Then again it may be drugs she is taking because she does have a beard. Let me tell ya, THAT was an ugly pic!
