I remember when she was born, my mother commented, “Chastity?!? What a stupid name for a baby. She will never grow up normal.”

Who could be normal with two self-obsessed, self-indulgent weirdo parents, Cher clearly seriously identity-confused about her own body.

Chastity/Chaz is a victim of her parents, or lack of parenting. She is confused and desperate and is a classic candidate for an untimely death (God forbid). I feel sorry for her.

“Chastity?!? What a stupid name for a baby.”

Isn’t it weird, I thought that too. And I was just a little kid, well maybe I was about 10. I just thought here is a woman who is a major sex symbol (remember that phrase?) and she names her daughter Chastity. However, Cher & Sonny Bono were a married couple at the time.

I too thought she was rather doomed. Even though I thought it was silly I thought that.

And I like that name “Chastity”. I like all those types names: Prudence, Honor, Hope. There’s a name for those names, but I forget what it is, “quality” names, that’s not it, but something like that.

And I can’t believe I’ve made 3 posts to the Chaz Bono DWTS thread. I must be the real sicko here!
