Thanks for the post! That's exactly how I spend my sunday evenings. I also listen to Ole Time Radio during the week. Last time I seriously watched TV they were still making the series “Family Ties”.

The Jack Benny Show is my favorite. Twilight Zone would be second. But I enjoy very much all of them from Gunsmoke to Dragnet, Burns and Allen and others.

I never really got into Amos and Andy as much and never really cared for Bob Hope on radio as much as I did on TV. I liked Bob Hope a lot and while he was funny I had other preferences.

Jack Benny is classic. When I have kids I'm looking forward to exposing them to all these shows. Atleast for the first 12 years.

Hi Gina, I'm having an exciting weekend. Had some shurbs put in Friday- Kevin knows I was worried about the hurricane in the Atlantic.

Smoked a brisket overnight Friday and am about to pull some pork to start off tonight's show.

That’s right! Keith (Logitech) said you wrote the other day that you had some landscaping done. Keith wrote you back not to worry. I hope this Katia behaves and zips up and out to sea.

We’ve been sitting here under Tropical Storm Lee for a couple of days. Here where we are, we’ve had probably around ten inches or so, and it’s not done yet. The wind is mild, only up to 30 to 40 MPH tops in the past couple of days. We’ve had constant tornado warnings, but not word of any actual tornados.

Keith wants to grill/smoke some chicken and sweet potatoes, but the rain needs to let up a little first.

I enjoy those AFR&TVS rebroadscast interludes: the Medal of Honor winners, the scientists, the info about each of the 57 states, etc.
