u mad?
Probably because they want a wedding, not a marriage. Which is why soon after they’ll want a divorce.
Are you watching Bridezilla reruns again?
They’re often the ones who stop participating in ....certain activities once the honeymoon is over.
i got invited to a big fancy wedding, where they had his and her cars with bows on the lawn, and pushed cake into each others faces. They got divorced within 6 months i think
Reality check?
probably trying to compensate.
If they’ve slept around, don’t plan to stay married, don’t want to be a good wife, are keeping their divorce option open, flirt with other men, etc. . .
they want the fairy tale wedding with everything just LIKE they were really committed - just to sort of feel the magic of doing it right for a day.
Vanity, all is vanity.
Is this the observation of a wedding crasher?
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout?
Personally, I am tired of attending these pageants.
Weddings and funerals are nothing more than costly coreographed productions.
No logic.
My first ex wanted, “a huge fancy white wedding,” and cheated in less than a year.
My second ex wanted something simple. By a lake. JOP asks, “Do you? And do YOU? Okay, you’re done,” and that lasted a little over six years before SHE cheated.
Some folks are just lucky, I guess.
Cause they are narcissists. Our society is over-run with female narcissists who think they “deserve” things!
Are you watching Bridezillas again? :)
If this isn’t UT material, I don’t know what is.
Don’t worry, I doubt Kim Kardashian stays married long. She apparently forgot to mention she had a previous marriage to her groom oh and he probably didn’t know about that video she made that is online now too.... I think its called “Jam it up” (apparently referring to anal sex)
He is probably finding out just how skanky she is.
Last month while I was donating blood I overheard the tech/nurses discussing one of their upcoming weddings.
An Obama fan, probably @ 5 or 6 months pregnant, was bragging she was able to buy her wedding cake with her EBT card - for $410.
Simply amazing....
I'd like to see a chart showing wedding cost vs. marriage longevity.
What do you mean? Did you have a bad breakup?
For my wedding, my parents spent a lot of money because my dad was a Chicago lawyer and wanted to invite all his friends, etc.
I opted for a $300 over-the-rack dress, and was very happy. I can’t understand spending thousands on a dress you’ll wear once in your life.
And I made sure my bridesmaids had reasonably-priced dresses that they could wear for other occasions.
