ABC lost a long time ago.
One of the first new shows on “ABC Family” was a show about shacking up. It hasn’t gotten better.
This fall they had a new show called “Good Christian Bi%$#es” without the $#@!. Yep, do you think they would replace Christian with black, jewish or muslim? I think they changed the title a little though after complaints.
Doesn’t this public reaction by Cher just confirm what we conservative people are saying, namely, that there are efforts to shove things down our throats? And, that if we say anything about it, then we conservatives get attacked as Neanderthal, bigoted, etc?????
The notion behind this action by Cher is that we’re supposed to be liberal about trans-whatevers, and if anybody says anything, they are the bigots and haters. On the other hand, her boy/girl/it, he/she/it is the one who is courageous to go out there as a trans-whatever.
It’s frustrating that we are forced to debate and discuss this from the liberal point of view, meaning that nobody is supposed to say anything about a trans-something person going out there.
Well, I heard once that eventually DWTS will have same-sex couples dancing too. Up until now, DWTS has been “hetero-normative”, because all couples have been boy-girl. At least up till now they have been.

How so ? Last I heard these shows were people dancing. Not getting naked and having an orgy. Isn’t it the feet that matter, not the genitalia ? Well that and some sort of celebrity status.
If Tom Delay can dance on the show, Cher’s offspring can do likewise.
