All: Marissa update. :) MrJust, Marissa and I went to dinner at the old Basque Hotel last Saturday. I almost fell out of my chair when she ordered frog legs. :)
I asked if she was sure and she said ... yes, I want to see what they taste like. She said they were okay but I don’t know whether she will order them again.

I bet the look of surprise on your face when Marissa ordered frog legs would have stopped a train!! What kids won’t do is not worth telling about. In a way, its interesting when they have these inquiring minds though.
When we were a young married couple, hubby went frog gigging with some guys and of course brought them home and we were going to have frog legs. He was all excited about it and was telling me when you fried them, you could see them jump in the skillet. (I believed anything he said back then...LOL) They did seem to quiver a bit in the skillet. You know what? I liked them and as they say about everything these days, “I thought they tasted like chicken.”
