Ahhh another fine specimen of American education and diplomacy!
Appears he’s been educated in the Wisconsin public school system, based on the quality educators I’ve seen protesting there in recent days.
It was in the past that when anyone was happy or exuberant they could also said to be gay. However for some reason and/or purpose the word gay was hijacked to mean someone, I’ll say, that is disoriented from a normal he-she sexual relationship. It is not unusual for groups to chose/confiscate ordinary meanings for an anti-societal meaning.
There was a case recently in South Korea where a taxi driver was picking on (nearly beating up) a female passenger who supposedly had refused to pay her fee in full. The taxi driver had even broken the door of the dormatory/apartment building the lady live in just to get more of her.
An American English teacher came up and intervened by beating the snot out of the taxi driver. Read more here. (The comments section is equally enlightening.)
The police charged the English teacher with assault because he supposedly busted the taxi driver's knee cap and the teacher was looking at having to pay lots of money in restitution for the taxi driver's medical expenses.
The taxi driver was never charged with his abuse of the female passenger nor was he ever charged for damaging the private property of the dormitory.
That might be why those young men just stood there and watched. If they had beaten the punk "disproportionately" to how he was beating up that lady and the old man, the rescuers would be the ones charged by the police with assault, not the punk.
