Question about reading FR on a Kindle. There is a lot of white space on the right when reading FR on my Kindle. Is there anyway to get rid of all the white space so the screen is filled up with text?
My first generation kindle has a browser.
Not sure what you mean. The white space seems to be an artifact of the boxes on the right at the top. Once you scroll past those there is half the screen filled with white space.
(((ping))) for what it is worth.
I’m anti tech. We really need to get away from this digital age. How much tech can we absorb? It’s great getting away from it all. What are you doing to get away from it all? I’m done, we don’t need it anymore.
Where are you at?
I’d like to figure out how to get alerts or pings on my Droid.
OK, I was able to fix it by moving the sidebar blocks to the top. All is good now. This only works when logged in though. Thanks much. I use my Kindle Bible at church and need to look things up sometimes.
Set it to stune.
black duct tape
And affordable...
lol, I’ve noticed at church (the little I actually go) that the number of folks using iPads, Kindles and other tabs are increasing. Although, I wonder how many are actually playing Angry Birds.
Can you send email from it?
Trade your Kindle in on an iPad. That’s what I’m using, too.
And, if recent news articles are to be believe, the new Kindle will be $299.00 in a couple of months.
We heard the Angry Birds theme song start up in church la few weeks ago. My daughter and the boy in front of her were dying laughing. Not literally, of course.
OK I’ll display my ignorance. What’s FR? I’ll really be bummed when I find out it was something I knew all along.
BTW.....Sent from my new Nook Color.
Thanks in advance.
I got the Kindle for my birthday so I didn’t have to pay anything for it. Since then I haven’t bought a single thing to read on it. I do have over a hundred free books on it. An iPad is out of my price range at this time. The bad economy has made the business I am at lay people off and those that are left have had several wage cuts.
