NE looked a lot better before last night. Let’s hope they got some bad football out of their system and their injuries (e.g., to Wes Welker’s neck) aren’t too serious.

After years and years of optimism based on nothing but hope I think I can finally say this year that the Lions are going to finish much better than 7 and 9. Last year they started jelling at the end of the season and the pre-season games have shown that the offense is working no matter what qb they have in there.
I'm guessing at least a wildcard playoff spot and maybe...maybe...all the way this year.

I think your picks look pretty good, except you got New England and the Chargers reversed at the end there...
The Pats looked terrible last night, I think they’re going to have a rough season this year. Brady seems to have trouble focusing on football lately.
