Are you aware of college rankings in America, and Canada?

As my daughter is starting at Ohio State in a few weeks, yes I am.

Mount Allison is the equivalent of Amherst College. Is an Amherst student good enough for one of your schools?

Mount Allison and Amherst are, once again, apples and oranges. No doubt MA had a lovely undergrad program, but a school with such a weak graduate program cannot be compared to one that does. It is the graduate programs that give a university its reputation in academics. That is where academia is expanded. I don’t know what your GRE scores were (or if you took the GRE), but from what I’ve heard and seen of your “writing sample,” I stand by my opinion that you, like many others, would have a hard time getting into UT or A&M, even as an undergrad.
