All this talk about China’s military capabilities is just that, all talk.
The fact of the matter aside from it’s own Vietnan border war in the late 70’s, over the past 50 years the Chinese have never engaged in a full scale conflict.
Therefore their soldiers/officers have virtually no real life experience in combat and dealing with the fog of war. Their only experience is repressing their large domestic population. So to think that they would undertake an action that would result in a full scale confrontation is not very possible. Only their nuclear arsenal makes them a world military power.
On the economic front, the size of their economy is about $6 trillion. Their 2 largest trading partners the US and the EU are in recession. So any economic growth the communists report is totally bogus, imho.
