Me too. You can get a good education, regardless of where you went to school. (well, maybe other than "Evergreen" or whatever the liberal arts place was that Rachel Corrie went to. The one that offers a degree in protesting, anyway.)
However, I'd argue that I pay close attention to "major". Anything with "studies" in it, is pretty much out. And "Womens Studies" is a huge waving, red flag.

I couldn’t agree more. I also find that the English faculty at the university level is often the core group of socialist activits on many college campuses. So I tend to be very careful about someone with an “English” degree.
Missed the first part of your post. I do tend to be very careful about the school(s) listed on the restume. Most schools can produce good employees. But I’ve learned there are a few colleges/universities out there that put out graduates who may be book smart, but lack the proper experience and skills to be successful in the work place. Unfortunately, some schools tend to support values which don’t contribute to success in a real career.
