Casey Anthony must still report to serve one year's probation in Florida, after her appeal against a judge's ruling on the matter was denied Tuesday, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Judge Belvin Perry ruled earlier in August that Anthony had until Aug. 26 to return to Florida to serve 12 months' probation for a check-fraud conviction, upholding a sentence by Judge Stan Strickland.
Her attorneys filed an appeal in Daytona Beach with Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeal, arguing that she had served her probation while she was in jail awaiting her murder trial.

Good morning, you people.
Good morning, Truthie! Thanks for sneaking it past.
I cannot find the Fox report that another one of the jurors has said he or she was wrong in the verdict. Sometimes Fox does this - runs something by briefly - and then never refers to this again. Then you think you’ve lost your mind.
P.S.: Belvin doesn’t like Casey.
Found the link. Hope it takes. The juror is unnamed in the report although a man; the reporter was a woman named Juliet Huddy.

He also said he would only vote manslaughter. The way he told what actually happened sounds as if this was a lazy jury.
Glad Casey lost this one. What more are people supposed to do to accomodate a murderess?
If she is the most hated person in America it is all her doing. Getting away with murder gets you OJ status.
Maybe she will end up as he did.
Where does he say that? The article I linked to is very short and when I click on it, it goes right back to the original short piece. Grrrr....
I guess manslaughter would have been better than nothing.
Another dumb question: how is probation served? My best hope is that she is chained to Cindy’s couch and the whole family must endure each other for another year.
He's not crazy about Baez, either.
Poor Belv! He had his hands full, didn’t he? My only beef with him is that he let on several crazy jurors who the prosecution wanted thrown off (the lady who didn’t believe she could judge others!!!)
Frankly, this is silly. The best thing for this world (and Orland) would be for Casey Anthony to just go away.
Why on earth would this judge remand her to stay in Orlando, where her presence causes agitation? Just get her the hell out of town and call it a day.
This judge is on an ego-trip.
I believe in Karma and Casey will pay....She is not out parting for fear of her life. GOOD !!!! Just wonder how long its gonna take Baez to leave his wife for Casey.. There has been something between them since day 1 IMHO
I’ve always noticed that there is a very inappropriate and strange ‘chemistry’ between them. It seemed to reach far beyond an attorney/client relationship.
LOL! And getting in before the scolds is truly a fine art!
Thanks for the ping. I haven’t had time to keep up with this story this week (or almost any story, hope this changes and soon), so I’m glad to hear it. Ah, the angst that she must be feeling to have to give up her luxury mansion and private jets...to go look for jobs and keep her parole appointments!
Lazy jury—that was one of my theories. That one, and the “NG verdict would bring in more book deals” theory were at the top of my list.
So you think someone should get away with check fraud, just because it might be “inconvenient” to make them do their parole time? And this is a “conservative” board? Sounds like a typical liberal mindset to me.
Thanks! Appreciate it.
That phrase is actually a demonstration of a "typical liberal-mindset". Ironic.
Anyhow, I think it would be wise for her to serve her parole time somewhere other than Orlando. Perhaps Saudi Arabia.
That's all I was suggesting before you responded in typical liberal fashion by saying I was a typical liberal.
It’s sooooooo nice to know that those “let’s go soft on Casey” folks are back in town. Oh, how I missed you.
Just read the interview with the male juror. Another dummy! How could they get so many stupid people on one damn jury?
Are there really lets go soft on Casey folks? Other than Geraldo, I can’t think of many.
I wouldn’t care if she were gang-raped and stoned by the Taliban.
But bringing her back to Orlando for probation is most unproductive. It just brings the circus back to town.
