Now he’s solid. Solid as a rock.
RIP
For some reason that song was stuck in my head for the past few days.
Not a good day for songwriters, first Jerry Lieber, now Nick Ashford.
RIP. He made such great music with his wife. He will be missed.

lol!
Bizarre.
I’m more impressed that they were able to stay together for all of those years, a rarity in the business.
Jerry Leiber, now Nick Ashford (LATE MOTOWN!), is this a season on songwriters?
Quick, somebody check up on Jimmy Webb.
Marvin Hamlisch and Carol Bayer Sager are sleeping with one eye open tonight.
I remember growing up my dad was a fan of R&B motown radio. It was an era where a father could turn on the radio and not worry about the family hearing something they shouldn’t. Yes it was suggestive as anything, but you had to know it to understand it.

It's part of Obama's plan.
He's been seen still looking for that recipe!
Howard Greenfield’s dead. As are Tommy Boyce, Hal David and Ellie Greenwich. Phil Spector is temporarily unavailable.
