What is your point exactly? I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from those as-seen-on-TV commercials, but if I noticed a good product I wanted at a competitive price I’d buy it. No different than shopping in a store. My decision will have nothing to do with where said product is made unless there is a quality issue I need to be mindful of.
Your not going to save American industry by boycotting as-seen-on-TV products. Nor are you going to hurt China.
And if this is a buy USA vanity, then I’m with you so long as the US product is competitively made and priced. If I want a product and the price and quality are the same, I’d buy American. I am not, however, going to buy an American made product if it is not as good or more expensive than the foreign made competitor.
In the end, the manufacture of cheap household products requires largely low skilled, minimally educated workers. Those types of jobs will always be farmed out to the cheapest labor pool.
My point is, American consumers are paying for China’s new aircraft carriers, and every single new weapons system being purchase by the Peoples Liberation Army.
What is your point, in one sentence?
And the unemployed low IQ types who used to work in this country, we'll send them to live at hour house. I hope you have a big backyard.
