I have a soft spot for dogs..
thought the list would appreciate this story. Terribly sad though. My heart goes out to the child who had to part with his / her dog.
My heart breaks with the sadness, the innocence and the unrequited love of this child. How dare his parents put their refusal to get along before their child.
I had a precious friend who died a few years ago at 79. She and her brother were abandoned when they were very young. As an old lady she was still sad and broken by her parent’s faithlesness.
I wonder if this child, like my friend, was forced into an orphanage. Certainly they had no love for their child or each other.
People get very ugly in the midst of divorce. I remember one sweet dog who was taken to a shelter becuase his owners were getting a divorce. What this did to their 12 year old child I don’t know. The people at the shelter put his picture online in hopes of finding a new home for him.
