What a sad, but somehow uplifting story.

In Greenview, California ten year old Dylan Frick knew he needed a 'Bucket List' .. and fast.

You know kind of like the movie - things do to before you die?

On Dylan's list:

Visit LEGOLAND

Go to an Oakland A’s game

Get baptized at Jones Beach

Hear from his favorite singer, Kim Walker.

And tell others about Jesus.

This past Saturday on August the 13th - little Dylan James Frick succumbed to the Brainstem Glioma. His parents were by his side. In his brief life his faith in God grew. So much so, that even while Dylan was dying from his brain tumor he wanted to tell other sick children about Jesus.

(He and his family were staying at the Ronald McDonald house in Palo Alto.)

"One day Dylan asked his dad “Do you think the other children here know Jesus?” His Dad said, “I don’t know, Buddy. Why do you want to know?” Dylan answered earnestly, “Because I want to pray with them.” And they did pray with several families that day, all because a selfless 10-year-old boy wanted to bring peace to other sick children."

During his stay at the Ronald McDonald House, Dylan compiled everything on his “Bucket List” - including giving hope to other sick children by telling them about Jesus.

His action and his word speaks louder than his word would have.

Tell the world, and most would slip away.

I am reminded of the hymn 'Tell me the story of Jesus'

You should tell it near and far.

A little child shall lead them, pure in heart and fervent in faith.

And tell others about Jesus.
Tells me much about him.

Tells me much about his parents, and their ability to remove the universal fear of death from the child.

Jesus loves me, this I know.
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak but He is strong!
