Paula Dean was on Fox and Friends this morning and I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe when Paula, with the greatest of good humor - and in her famous Southern drawl responded to Bourdain's outrageous comments, saying,

" I don't know if it was a publicity thing or if someone had just peed in his cereal bowl that morning and he was mad......."

I’m surprised Paula didn’t employ the “Bless his heart...” expression of southern contempt and castigation (she’s old enough to have the proper intonation for this locked and loaded, which makes all the difference in the meaning).

Thanks for posting Paula Deen’s timely comment about Bourdain’s strange criticism. Bourdain does not make sense. He will eat foods in foriegn countries that would be the equivalent to what Deen cooks, and say it was the most incredible dish he ever ate.
