I’ve always gotten a creepy feeling that Bordain trolls the back alleys of Thailand looking for “ladyboys” when the cameras are off.

well, I love when these extremely tall people like bourdain complains about the heavier set people who don't have his height.....when you're taller you can take in tons more calories....like John Tesh, neither of these guys have ever had to worry about an extra pound in their lives...
having said that, he's right about Deen and Ray....both corporate suck ups who are Rats btw ......

It's pretty much the same in every restaurant...
Years ago, I asked a chef why mashed potatoes always tasted so much better in a restaurant. He told me what he said chwefs have known for decades..in a restaurant, it's "lots of cream, butter, salt and pepper held together with a little potato.."

Bourdain has turned the “Travel” channel into the non-travel channel. Years back I remember subscribing to cable just so I could get the Travel channel. Now it’s all about weird food and I never watch.

Paula Deen has stated many times that her recipes aren’t for everyday eating. They are recipes that are used for when you want to make something really tasty and decadent. Bourdain is one of those “chef type people” who like to criticize non-chefs (I personally think he is very impressed with himself and his title). Just a thought.

Also true, but most people don’t eat out at such restaurants every night. Day by day you have to eat healthier.

I doubt it's really her food that bothers him. He seems to hate what he considers “fake” Chefs like Rachel Ray and Paula Deen, who portray everything in the culinary word as all sunshine and lollipops. When the real culinary world, according to him, is dirty, cutthroat, underhanded and little better than Los Vegas under the mafia. He use to trash Emeril for the same reason, buy after he met him, he claimed he'd change his mind and said that Emeril is the real deal off camera. Now Bourdain calls him a lovable fuzzy little amok.

With their airbrushed airhead faces plastered on half the products in the cookware aisle. The cheesy dames deserve any and all ridicule.

He’s so smarmy I couldn’t stand to be around him. The guy who eats weird food seems like an OK guy.

I’ve watched dozens of Bourdains’ shows. He regularly indulges in artery cloggers, eg a deepfried Twinkie. As long as we’re being critical Anthony how about cleaning up your language. The “Bleeper” works overtime on your show.

I agree...I’ve been on a low salt diet for years, often no salt, and have learned to cook with herbs and spices. When I eat out, and first taste a dish, the SALT just explodes un my taste buds..it’s overwhelming..

It is funny I have never heard of this Anthony Bourdain creep but I do know who Paula Deen and Rachael Ray are. I think that he can’t cook and that is his problem. He probably would not know what to do with a few slices of bacon, a couple of eggs and two slices of bread!

He’s got shows coming out of his ass.
Sometimes it looks like he gets more air-time than the other cooks combined, and he gets to travel the world trying the best stuff. Somehow, sitting on a soundstage doesn’t seem to be the better gig.
