SEATTLE -- Aggravated murder charges were filed Tuesday against a Seattle doctor accused of killing his young son and fatally stabbing his partner more than 100 times in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood.
Prosecutors say the murders were premeditated, and the charges leave open the possibility that suspect Louis Chao Chen, 39, could face the death penalty.
The bodies were discovered Aug. 11 after family members began raising concern with others in Seattle that they couldn’t reach Chen.

Chen and the two victims had been living together in the 17th-floor unit at the M Street Apartments for about a month. According to records obtained by KOMO News, Chen had just moved to Seattle with his partner and son from Durham, N.C., where he had just wrapped up a residency studying endocrinology at Duke University.

Had a pal who was a cop in CA. Domestic violence calls were always the riskiest thing for him to respond to, but he said homosexual domestic violence calls were absolutely the worst. Male or female.
Two gay men or women will just beat each other until they're covered in blood, then they'll resort to whatever weaponry is at hand. EMTs are almost always called for one or both who need medical attention. Everyone responding to the call ends up wishing they were wearing a hermetically-sealed environmental contamination suit.
Three things he says were common in all homosexual domestic violence calls:
1. Fight always always ALWAYS started over infidelity. Every single time.
2. Both parties will be substance abusers. Some kind of drugs will be found at the scene almost every time.
3. The person who called the police or dialed 911 was never one of the two homosexuals. It's always a neighbor who made the call, or a passersby, or one of the actor's family members.
Man, he killed his sex partner and even killed their vanity pet too.
That's cold blooded.
My dad was a police officer and he said the same thing nearly thirty years ago.
So true, considering there have NEVER been any murders of spouses or children in heterosexual relationships, ever, in the history of the world.

The Seattle Times is not allowing readers to comment on any of the articles about this murder. Think the same would happen if it was a hetrosexual marriage rather than a homosexual one?

BTW, my grandma, a nurse also said that decades ago about gay fights. She said they were always the most violent she saw. I asked her why and she said it was because they were always "jealousy-rage" related.
I see this is reported by KOMO. We used to call it “HOMO” radio back in the 80’s.
The child was the natural son of the killer (in vitro w/ surrogate) and had been adopted by the deceased partner. That said, we sure are lucky that hetero couples never engage in violence and murder...
There was another Duke employee who sold his adopted child for viewing on porn websites.
