Do you remember when Bachman came out on stage somewhere and turned and spoke to the wrong camera? Saturday Night Live had a blast with that. I laughed and felt bad for Michele at the same time. Either she was sabotaged or her staff is not very good. That should not have happened.

Having read this far, I have come to the conclusion that the problem is not with MB, but with some people's sense of perception. It says much more about the perceiver than the perceived.

Maybe she should only eat in privacy, no cameras allowed, and be called 'aloof', at best.

Or maybe she should wear white gloves, and use a full array of knife, salad fork, fork, spoon, soup spoon, and dessert spoon on everything; no finger foods allowed?

As much as we ridiculed Kerry, Obama, and several others for various 'eating' pictures, those likely changed nobody's mind either way...but pictures of ineptitude and unguarded irksomeness that portray the candidate's flawed character, or underlying personality disorder, may.

This is not Dukakis in a tank, or Kerry in the blue NASA "bunny suit".
