Add the Telegraph to the list of media organizations snapping unnecessarily bad (inappropriate?) pictures of Michele Bachmann.
Michele Bachmann, Iowa born and the favorite to win the Straw Poll, arrived half an hour late for her slot and then spoke for just over two minutes, saying that Iowans were "going to send the signal" to the rest of America just as they had in 2008. "This is where Barack Obama got his start. This is where he's going to come to his end, in Iowa."

She didn’t speak to the wrong camera, she spoke to the camera provided by the tea party group she was speaking to. The media decided there was something wrong not talking to their cameras.
Yep. I fully agree. Also - Bachmann is likely a FReeper and thus would have had a special advantage over other candidates by having seen the photos of Hillary and Obama often displayed here. That makes this photo of her all the more bizarre.

a TEA Party response to a State of the Union. She was looking at the camera that the TEA Party arranged for, on their webcast... and they weren’t tech savvy enough to control the media and provide a “pool feed” from their camera. It goes to not having the right people on the job.
She gave a rebuttal to Obama’s state of the union address but it wasn’t the official rebuttal and there was some confusion over whether it would be televised.
I watched it online and it looked fine. Stupid media tricks.

frank has probably been photographed (and enjoyed) eating many things shaped like a corn dog...but this is 2012 so there is nothing wrong with that.

I don’t care how he looks when he eats or what he eats. If all he did was eat and do nothing else, his eating pictures would be an object of beauty.
When the Queen sits down to have some state dinner photographs are forbidden for just this reason. It is all too easy to just not look very good when you are eating. Granted when you are on a campaign trail you can’t do what Queen of England can order but you do have to be aware and keep things like this from happening.
