I think most mainline Christian denominations are friendly towards gays THAT WISH TO STOP SINNING and FOLLOW THE WORD OF GOD.

Perhaps it would be more constructive to publish a list of gays who are interested in reforming their sinful ways, and see which churches would want to help them...those would be what I would consider gay-friendly churches. And the individuals would be considered ‘Church-Friendly’ gays.

Unfortunately that is not the case. Mainline churches that have agreed to ordain homosexuals have taken to redefining sinful behavior. They do not require homosexuals to abstain from their “lifestyle” so long as it is in “a loving and committed” relationship. These mainline churches ceased to believe in the Word of God long ago. I would agree that the church should accept sinners looking for forgiveness...but what they’ve done is to accept the sinner and told the sinner they don’t need forgiveness. That my friend is the road to damnation.
