And those who make that criticism are completely ignorant of the history of this event. Romney won this in 2008. If Romney cannot do better then 500 votes in a purple state, and he is totally DOA south of the Mason Dixon line, how does he win the Nomination? Winning NH is not enough to make him the Nominee. He needs the Midwest and the NE to offset how poorly he will do in the South. This was not just a defeat for Romney, it was an utter disaster.

Because the Iowa, and next day, the New Hamphsire caucuses, will thin out the herd considerably.

Gingrich should stay in for attack dog status only. He can say thongs about Obama the others can’t because he knows he won’t win.

Herman CAIN should stay in, to show America’s minorities just how successful they really can be, when they stop buying in to the Democrat Plantation.

Huntsman, McCotter (Never heard of him until today), Pawlenty, and RON PAUL should step aside.

I agree. Romney needs to prove he is at least as relevant as he was before. If not more. Not just to his fans in the media, but with the big GOP donors and the local grassroots organizations.

If, after several years of running for President, Romney is getting beaten by write-in campaigns for candidacies that are six hours old, he's in big, big trouble.
