PHOENIX, AZ - Aaron Garcia finally did it. He threw the game-winning touchdown pass to give the Jacksonville Sharks a 73-70 victory over the Arizona Rattlers in what may have been the best ArenaBowl game in Arena Football history.
Arizona quarterback Nick Davila, who passed for 338 yards and eight touchdowns in the game, gave the Rattlers the lead 70-67 with 21 seconds to play. But it was Garcia who stole the show.
Garcia set a new ArenaBowl record with 402 passing yards, breaking Sherdrick Bonner's previous record of 367 yards, set in 2004 against San Jose. He had eight touchdown passes in the game, including the game-winner to Jeron Harvey with no time left on the clock.
Harvey had nine catches for 115 yards and three touchdowns in the game.
Jacksonville's Jomo Wilson led all receivers with 138 yards and two scores. Arizona's Chris Jackson had 136 yards and three touchdowns in the game.

I am a well informed sports fan and had no idea the league was back. I used to go to Columbus Destroyer games for next to nothing as I’m a Blue Jackets season ticket holder.
It relaunched last year. Best bang for your buck if you love football.
The Jacksonville Sharks was also the name of the WFL team back in the 70s.
I enjoyed spending more for concessions than I did for tickets. My NHL seats are face valued at $98 a pair. Those same seats for Arena Ball cost me $28 a pair.
That postgame awards show, with what sounded like jeering Arizona fans left standing around, was painful to watch.
