What if the 3rd Party nominee is not as conservative as the Republican nominee?

What if the 3rd party nominee has a proven record and the repub nominee doesn't - just a political talker? We can go on all night with what if's.

I’ll be honest. It’s getting extremely difficult to find a candidate to vote for. My first vote was for Reagan, and since then, it seems like there have been nothing but a steady stream of craptacular candidates.

If no real Conservative candidates are available, I’ll vote third party, even if they aren’t conservative. I will no longer vote for the lesser of two evils.
